I came across this poem and it gets to the very heart of it, for all of us crazy tea lovers!
The Tea Lover’s Week
On Monday it just has to be
A robust cup of English tea.
On Tuesdays to begin the day
It’s Assam or a fine Earl Grey.
Wednesdays if I get frustrated
It has to be decaffeinated.
On Thursdays it is most appealing
To brew a teapot of Darjeeling.
On Fridays there is nothing finer
Than Chamomile in vintage china.
Saturdays I’m rather keen
On herbal, peppermint or green.
And Sunday’s all that works for me
Is biscuit dunked in Builder’s Tea!
